Effective Cultivation Technology
Already in India country wide plantation started by the different Agro business houses, Bio tech companies, looking at the huge potential of the future in this alternative energy business; mainly in contract farming and sometimes on the stretch of owned lands, like Indian railway being the biggest Diesel consumer is thinking on using their huge lands along side railway tracts to use for cultivation. Corporate houses namely Emami Biotech, Coastal energy, Air bridge green, Reliance petro, TATA Chemical and several other govt organization like WBGEDC, (govt of West Bengal Co), Balmer Lawrie (a PSU under ministry of petroleum & natural gas), are namely a few in this brigade. A new ministry has been formed namely 'MInistry of New & Alternative Energy' - http://www.mnre.gov.in/
Already sizeable quantity of Milletia seeds are being available ; but there is no support price for this in the market ; till the Govt put some regulations into it. After that seeds may be little higher in cost. So it is only way to minimise the cost of production by own plantation in a phased manner during the 5 years down the line. Investing in huge plantation will bear fruit after 5 years; when seeds will be high in demand & cost. The more plantation you have the more seed supply of crude oil you will get, the more you can save your cost the year round. We have lands arranged within us in the tune of 2200 Acres or 880 Hecters to start plantation. Our plantation will be a Multiplex plantation project.
